My goal is to assist clients in exploring and overcoming life challenges within a safe and supportive environment. Together, we will delve into your emotions, develop coping skills, and build resilience, all while embracing your true and authentic self. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding, allowing me to recognize the unique struggles that many young adults and adults face in today's world as they embark on the challenge of trying therapy for the first time and investing energy to address significant issues.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from UMBC and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. In my practice, I employ various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy to assist clients in addressing issues related to self-worth, romantic relationships, academics, unplanned pregnancy, the effects of divorce, adoption, foster care, and family dynamics. I approach my work from a multicultural perspective and have extensive experience working with bi-racial and bi-cultural families. Personally, I identify as a Transracial, Indigenous Peruvian International Adoptee. It may be challenging to navigate the journey ahead on your own, but you don't have to. I empower clients to maintain control and would be honored to provide guidance and support along the way.
