I hold a Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore where I received graduate training in individual and group psychotherapy at Johns Hopkins Bayview. I have also completed a post-graduate fellowship at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy + Psychoanalysis where I trained in contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice.

I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. I practice a relational form of psychodynamic therapy which views the therapeutic relationship as the site of potential transformation. I believe that a strong therapeutic bond is key for successful treatment and is the means through which deep healing can occur.  My areas of clinical interest include depression, treatment-resistant mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, loss and bereavement, creative/artistic blocks, and relationship and intimacy issues.  I specialize in long-term relational work, and working with adult men.

We will work together to discover patterns and behaviors which may no longer be serving you as well as they once did. Whether you are struggling with something that is deeply rooted or a temporary challenge, whether you are in crisis, or are looking to deepen your self-awareness, therapy can both heal and illuminate.
